Welcome!

 Welcome!

This community is to share our experiences with wild creatures in urban settings. Whether it's the lorikeets in the fruit trees, the possum in your roof, or the fruit-bats blackening the sky, this is a place to celebrate and share the strength and resilience of our wild creatures.

This community is for Australian wildlife - native or invasive. Please refrain from posting pictures of pets or livestock.

Photos and videos are especially welcome. Please put spookier creatures like spiders and snakes under a cut.

Feel free to just tell your stories, too. Photos are great but not required.

Please let us know roughly where you are - the wildlife in Brisbane is going to be different than the wildlife in Bega, after all. It's also great to tag your posts. Use plurals ("insects") and a general location ("brisbane"). It'll help us find content later.

There is beauty in the margins. Let's find it.
